Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, food, beverage, ingredient, or consumer packaged goods environments.
  • Experience leading large teams of hourly production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing operation.
  • Demonstrated success improving safety, quality, productivity, employee engagement, and operational performance.
  • Lead by example and build trust with frontline teams.
  • Hold themselves and others accountable for results.
  • Develop and coach employees to reach their full potential.
  • Remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Use data and metrics to identify opportunities and solve problems.
  • Collaborate effectively across departments to achieve plant goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of hourly manufacturing employees, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive daily production execution to achieve safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity targets.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees through performance feedback, training, and succession planning.
  • Champion food safety, quality, GMP, HACCP, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Analyze production metrics and implement corrective actions to improve operational performance.
  • Partner closely with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Human Resources to solve problems and drive business results.
  • Lead root-cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Support workforce planning, labor optimization, and production scheduling activities.
