The Offshift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities of employees assigned to the department. This role involves meeting or exceeding productivity and quality standards, ensuring adherence to safety rules, and coordinating repairs with relevant departments. The supervisor will communicate effectively with team leaders and members, liaise with support departments to resolve issues, and direct the department in a manner that fosters high morale, trust, teamwork, training, pride, productivity, and quality. Key responsibilities include accurate and timely completion of paperwork, ensuring housekeeping standards are met, and interpreting company policies and safety regulations. The supervisor will also analyze and resolve work problems, confer with other supervisors, set up machines and equipment, and perform activities of supervised workers. They have the authority to initiate action to prevent nonconformities, identify and record problems, verify solutions, and control nonconforming products.
