About The Position

The Production Supervisor - 1st Shift role at Freudenberg Residential Filtration Technologies Inc. involves leading and supporting a production team to achieve key performance goals in safety, quality, productivity, and attendance. This position oversees daily production activities, ensuring efficient schedule adherence and high-quality standards. A strong emphasis is placed on promoting a safe work environment through policy compliance and regulatory adherence. The supervisor will monitor performance, identify and resolve operational challenges to minimize downtime, and collaborate with various departments like Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain for seamless operations. Additionally, the role focuses on employee development and driving continuous improvement through training, feedback, and process optimization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
• Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing or production experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership, supervisory, or team lead role.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, solve problems, and drive results in a fast-paced operation.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with production management systems, quality standards, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production performance, identify operational challenges, and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous workflow.
• Drive employee development and continuous improvement initiatives through training, performance feedback, and process optimization efforts.
