About The Position

The Production Supervisor coordinates daily production operations in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. The role is accountable for work direction, workflow execution, quality oversight, safety compliance, operational record keeping, and resolution of routine production issues. The position requires regular interaction with employees and cross-functional partners and consistent application of established operating procedures and standards.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of production processes, equipment, and workflow coordination in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of applicable safety procedures, operational standards, and production requirements.
  • Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple production demands.
  • Ability to review quality, productivity, and inventory-related information and take appropriate action within established guidelines.
  • Proficiency with production systems and standard office software used for communication and recordkeeping.
  • Clear verbal and written communication is required to provide work direction, document activity, and escalate issues.
  • Work requires attention to operational details, quality expectations, and established process requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics, supply chain, business, manufacturing, or a related field may be considered based on organizational needs and role scope.
  • Three years of experience in a packaging, production, or manufacturing environment required.
  • One year of supervisory or lead experience required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate daily production activities, including assigning work, monitoring workflow, and resolving operational issues to meet production, quality, and safety expectations.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and work direction to frontline or contracted employees, including training on procedures, work methods, and required safety practices.
  • Monitor production output, downtime, quality results, and related records; review information for accuracy and take appropriate action to address variances.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, quality, shipping, and other business partners to maintain continuity of operations, material availability, and timely completion of production activities.
  • Use production systems, computers, and standard office software to document activity, communicate updates, and maintain operational and compliance records.
  • Identifies and resolves routine production, workflow, and equipment-related issues and escalates non-routine matters as appropriate.
  • Provides day-to-day direction and oversight for frontline or contracted employees performing production-related work.
  • Assigns tasks, communicates expectations, monitors work execution, and addresses routine performance or operational issues.
  • Supports onboarding, training, and adherence to company procedures, work methods, and safety requirements.
