This role provides first shift supervision (Monday - Thursday, 4AM - 2PM) to production teams while championing safety, quality, and operational excellence. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Three (3) years of functional and/or operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Experience in machining operations.
Two (2) years of functional supervisory/leadership experience.
Five (5) years of functional and/or operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven understanding of applicable products and processes in a value stream.
Lean Manufacturing training / experience.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of employees and contingent workers by providing clear direction, meaningful feedback, training, performance evaluations, and effective workforce planning and scheduling.
Establish and continuously improve standardized work procedures and operating instructions to drive consistency, efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.
Investigate Service Requests to identify root causes, implement sustainable corrective actions, and proactively prevent future issues through a continuous improvement mindset.
Own the execution of operational results by driving on-time delivery of customer orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and achieving plant goals related to safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and lead-time improvement.
Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and open communication by serving as a trusted liaison between employees and staff, facilitating regular toolbox meetings, aligning teams around priorities and performance targets, and empowering employees to identify and solve problems.
Build organizational capability by mentoring team members, recognizing and developing talent, and creating growth opportunities that strengthen both individual performance and the long-term success of the operation.
