About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall performance of the assigned production area across all shifts. This role owns daily operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all processes while leading and developing the team. This position has full disciplinary responsibility for all employees within the assigned area and is accountable for maintaining standards, enforcing policies, and driving consistent performance.

  • Setting clear expectations and holding Team Leads and operators accountable for performance and behavior.
  • Ensuring effective shift-to-shift communication and alignment.
  • Enforcing all safety standards, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintaining a strong floor presence to identify and correct unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Ensuring safe operation of all equipment and proper handling of materials.
  • Owning daily operations of the assigned production area.
  • Ensuring production targets are met for output, efficiency, and schedule adherence.
  • Managing staffing and resources to maintain flow and prevent bottlenecks.
  • Escalating and removing production constraints quickly.
  • Ensuring all products meet internal and customer quality requirements.
  • Driving containment and corrective actions for any quality issues.
  • Working closely with Quality to maintain process control and compliance.
  • Ensuring proper staffing, training, and skill coverage across all shifts.
  • Driving productivity by minimizing idle time and maximizing labor effectiveness.
  • Developing Team Leads and operators through coaching and training validation.
  • Promoting accountability and ownership at all levels.
  • Identifying and eliminating waste in processes, layout, and workflows.
  • Leading and supporting initiatives to improve efficiency, labor absorption, and throughput.
  • Sustaining TPM, 5S, and standard work.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the assigned production area.
  • Coordinating with upstream and downstream areas to maintain material flow.
  • Communicating performance, issues, and priorities clearly to leadership and the team.
  • Owning area performance across all shifts.
  • Maintaining strong, consistent floor presence.
  • Enforcing standards and policies without exception.
  • Balancing people leadership with operational execution.
