About The Position

Superior Plastics is employee owned and seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to join our growing manufacturing team in Plain City, Ohio. This is an opportunity to lead people, drive production performance, and work for a stable company that values its team members. Our unique rotating schedule means you only work 7 days in a 14-day pay period:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Work/Life balance. You receive full-time pay and benefits while enjoying built-in time off throughout the month.
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead by example on the production floor
• Dependable and organized
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

• Injection molding or plastics experience is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production employees on the manufacturing floor
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and attendance expectations
• Monitor daily production schedules and staffing needs
• Troubleshoot production and personnel issues
• Train and develop team members
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and management teams
• Maintain a positive and accountable work environment
• Help improve efficiency and workflow throughout the shift
