About The Position

Manage all aspects of Malthouse and Elevator Operations including coverage for The Process Manager and the Elevator Supervisor positions. Support all company initiatives, programs, and policies with a positive attitude. Enforce Plant Operating Rules and Regulations and Safety Rules. Work diligently and cooperatively with other employees to achieve all goals, targets and initiatives set forth by Management. Closely monitor malting process and act diligently to avoid any quality issues or production delays. Supervise malt production personnel, with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of his/her unit. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supervisor carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Participate in all required training and education. Supervisor should develop his/her own Career Development Plan under the direction of Management and Human Resource Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing or production leadership
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to read, interpret, and enforce SOPs, specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel
  • Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position, including repeated bending, stretching, walking, twisting and lifting
  • Ability to set and prioritize goals
