Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent related work experience
2-5 years of experience successfully leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with shop tools and light equipment
Knowledge of related production processes and machines.
Must also have good materials knowledge.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Basic computer competency required in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work within and learn production software programs and ERP system.
Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
A positive, proactive demeanor resulting in superior teamwork and collaboration with team members.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently to communicate effectively with team members within and external to department.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain on time production schedule
Oversees and organizes all materials, manufacturing processes, & staffing for their department
Manages up to 6 people and multiple projects simultaneously
Provides training & information for their team to successfully complete jobs within UPC standards.
Ensures the highest levels of safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and production efficiency.
