About The Position

The Production Supervisor oversees and manages the daily operations of the Configuration and Panel Shop departments, ensuring safety, efficiency, quality, and adherence to production plans. The role includes following schedules, troubleshooting issues, delegating tasks, maintaining regulatory compliance, monitoring performance, training employees, and optimizing production processes using tools such as Lean and 5S. The position calls for strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasked environment while fostering teamwork through effective communication and leadership.

Requirements

Two years of related experience and/or training.
Ability to lift 30 pounds; occasional bending, lifting, and climbing steps are required.
Ability to work accurately with numbers and possess good organizational skills.
Computer skills, including ERP systems, MS Office, email, and current Windows operating systems.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s (AA) degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Enforce safety procedures, conduct safety audits, and maintain a safe work environment.
Supervise and coordinate production activities, including resource allocation and workflow management.
Monitor production processes to ensure they meet established quality standards.
Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
Lead and motivate production teams, delegate tasks, and conduct performance evaluations.
Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
Train and mentor production staff to enhance skills and productivity.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Prepare and maintain production reports and records.
Collaborate with Cargo, Shipping, Stock Room, Materials, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to optimize production.
