About The Position
The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising all related operational functions for the site, either mainly or exclusively on off-shifts. These responsibilities included but are not limited to direction and performance of the department hourly production workforce, conformance to all regulatory compliance, enforcement of safety, health, environmental, policies & procedures; work rules; operating procedures; quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements
- 5 years or more of manufacturing industry experience with a strong working knowledge of all elements of manufacturing systems (preferably in a chemical facility)
- Knowledge of State/Federal EPA and OSHA compliance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Practical supervisory/leadership experience is preferred
- Experience with batch operations is desirable
- Experience working at a PSM site is a strong plus
- Proven experience and effectiveness supervising union hourly work force a plus
