About The Position

As our next Production Supervisor, you’ll be at the forefront of leading production teams to safely produce high-quality products while driving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement. Your expertise in manufacturing operations, leadership, and process improvement will be critical in achieving production goals and fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing leadership or supervisory role
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
  • Experience with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Why and Fishbone Diagrams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading Gemba Kaizen or continuous improvement projects
  • Experience with manufacturing ERP or production systems
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and production documentation
  • Experience supporting automotive or high-volume manufacturing operations

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are achieved
  • Drive departmental performance metrics including scrap reduction, build performance, productivity, and on-time delivery
  • Assign staffing resources to support production goals and operational requirements
  • Review and maintain production documentation, work instructions, standard work, and process records
  • Manage router updates, engineering change reviews, and production process documentation
  • Support process qualification activities including IQ and PQ execution
  • Maintain and update manufacturing data and production systems
  • Identify, prioritize, and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using problem-solving methodologies
  • Communicate daily performance expectations, business updates, and improvement opportunities to production teams
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained and non-conforming products are properly contained and addressed
  • Complete production reporting and data entry accurately and on time
  • Hold employees accountable in a fair, consistent, and professional manner
  • Support employee development through coaching, training, and performance management
  • Assist in the creation and deployment of training programs
  • Act as backup for other supervisors as needed
  • Support all safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives within the facility
