About The Position

The Production Supervisor oversees manufacturing operations during the shift, ensuring products conform to specifications and employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The role coordinates departmental workflow, supports safe and efficient operations, and contributes to cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at meeting quality and production goals. The supervisor leads and develops a high-performing team, sets expectations, and monitors individual and team performance. The position also carries out supervisory duties under company policies and applicable laws, including hiring, training, assigning and directing work, performance appraisals, employee recognition and discipline, and resolving complaints and problems.

Requirements

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school.
• Three years of supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the plastics industry.
• Experience using the IQMS system.
• Technical experience with EBM and IM machines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise product manufacturing to verify conformance to specifications.
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are followed correctly.
• Recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Organize and coordinate departmental workflow during the shift.
• Pursue and contribute to cost-reduction methods.
• Develop, recommend, and implement continuous-improvement measures for manufacturing and support procedures, practices, production methods, and product quality.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team by setting clear expectations and monitoring individual and team performance.
• Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints; and resolve problems in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
