About The Position
The Production Supervisor leads the daily operations of assigned manufacturing departments to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives while coaching employees and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years manufacturing experience.
- 3+ years supervisory experience.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Commercial refrigeration manufacturing experience.
- ERP experience.
Responsibilities
- Promote a strong safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Supervise daily production activities.
- Coordinate staffing to meet production requirements.
- Monitor productivity and schedule attainment.
- Coach and develop employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations.
- Administer attendance and corrective action per policy.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Lead corrective actions.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing.
- Lead problem-solving activities.
- Recommend operational improvements.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Support equipment troubleshooting.
- Partner with Engineering, Production Control, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and HR.
