About The Position

The Van Drunen Family of Companies is growing! This role is for the 2nd Shift, 3PM - 11:30PM, with mandatory overtime on Saturdays from 3PM - 11:30PM. The expected pay range is $29.33 - $34.00 per hour. This role may qualify for supplemental compensation through bonus and incentive programs based on individual and company performance. Requirements

  • At least one year of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Manufacturing experience required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated competencies in integrity, accountability, reliability, and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year degree preferred.
  • Food manufacturing and automation experience a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all production activities for the assigned shift to ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met.
  • Monitor operations to maximize efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for safety concerns and incidents during the shift, escalating issues as needed.
  • Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Inventory teams to support sanitation, food safety, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Ensure all production and quality documentation is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Lead, coach, and develop shift employees, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and daily work direction.
