About The Position

The Production Supervisor plans and directs the work of production team members. The role participates in safety and quality initiatives, monitors production schedules, and provides coaching and feedback to help ensure job requirements are met. The position requires 1–3 years of previous supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of previous supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety initiatives to help ensure a safe work environment and reduce incidents and accidents by identifying and recording first aid cases, near misses, and behavior-based observations.
• Plan and direct team members’ work based on production needs.
• Ensure product quality at all stages of the manufacturing process.
• Understand and monitor production schedules and required build rates.
• Address potential bottlenecks and allocate resources as necessary.
• Drive and support continuous improvement throughout the department.
• Coach and provide feedback to production team members to ensure job requirements are met.
• Evaluate staffing needs and participate in selecting and training new co-workers.
