About The Position

We are seeking a motivated 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team and drive operational excellence.

Requirements

A floor-focused leader who can earn the respect of the team while maintaining high expectations.
At least five years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Automotive stamping, metal forming, press operations, or similar high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and support hourly production associates in a high-volume stamping operation.
Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and performance.
Coordinate daily production priorities, manpower, press assignments, and workflow.
Monitor production performance and respond quickly to downtime, quality concerns, and other operational issues.
Partner closely with Quality, Maintenance, Tool & Die, Materials, Safety, and HR.
Conduct shift start-up meetings and communicate production goals and priorities.
Coach, train, and develop associates while recognizing strong performance.
Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scrap, downtime, and overall performance.
Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed.
Build a positive, accountable work environment where employees understand how their work contributes to the success of the plant.
