We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our company and support our Reinbeck, Iowa location. As the Production Supervisor for Corteva Agriscience, you will oversee day-to-day production operations by reviewing schedules, allocating resources, and leading teams to safely and efficiently meet production and quality goals. You will train, coach, and develop employees while modeling Corteva’s commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to coordinate workflows, prepare seasonal operations, resolve issues, and support workforce planning. Through strong communication, data-driven decision-making, and active engagement on the production floor, you will help ensure operational excellence, accurate reporting, and a positive, high‑performing team environment. VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position. Relocation assistance is offered for this position. This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.

Requirements

  • Holds a valid driver’s license

  • Perform work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting
  • Exposure to dust and plant allergens including but not limited to corn, sunflower, cotton, and canola pollen and protein and sorghum as well as potential mold spores and/or chemicals in the course of your duties
  • High school diploma/GED (bachelor's degree is strongly preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, agriculture, or related discipline
  • Experience in coaching, leading, and managing a diverse team in a fast-paced work environment
  • Agricultural knowledge
  • Experience in operations, warehousing, production, manufacturing, or related fields
  • Experience with coaching and feedback (including training and mentoring others)
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing Methodology experience

Responsibilities

  • Review production schedules, allocate team members and resources to complete schedules, and ensure production expectations are met
  • Ensure employees are properly trained
  • Serve as an example for others by modeling and implementing a commitment to safety and quality while maintaining efficient productivity throughout operations
  • Analyze and resolve problems or assist employees in resolving problems
  • Lead employees in their development by providing coaching and feedback
  • Coordinate operation activities by assisting with preparing seasonal areas for production, organizing and training teams, and collaborating with other departments
  • Monitor product quality and ensure activities meet the needs of the Quality and Rough-Cut Capacity Plans
  • Develop and maintain good communication and rapport with a variety of workers and external business partners
  • Work with other leaders to coordinate workflows and resources between departments
  • Provide input to workforce planning and development, scheduling, and creation of annual site plans
  • Complete and maintain appropriate records, documents, or reports to ensure transactional excellence and data accuracy in business systems
  • Other duties as assigned
