About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our production team. This role is crucial for ensuring our daily production meets safety, quality, and delivery goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, direct supervisory experience, and a passion for lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of 15-25 employees, fostering a culture of safety and accountability, and driving operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume or mixed-model environment
• Direct supervisory experience leading production teams
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Experience in lean manufacturing environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and mechanical drawings

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience using ERP systems (Infor preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15–25 employees, including team leads.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide clear direction, feedback, and performance management.
• Support hiring, training, and workforce planning.
• Oversee daily production to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.
• Maintain strong floor presence (~70%) to support teams and resolve issues.
• Ensure adherence to standard work, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles (5S, standard work, flow).
• Lead root cause problem solving and implement sustainable solutions.
• Maintain training matrices and build workforce capability.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures.
• Support and reinforce quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage time and attendance for production staff.
• Utilize ERP system (Infor) and production data to support decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting.
