About The Position
We're looking for a Production Supervisor who leads by doing, not just directing. This role involves running the night shift, ensuring production stays on schedule, maintaining quality standards, and motivating the team to perform at their best. The ideal candidate will be proactive in addressing issues, coordinate effectively with other departments, and ensure smooth shift transitions with accurate record-keeping.
Requirements
- Lead from the floor, not from your office.
- Address safety, performance, or behavior issues head-on.
- Coach team members and document performance.
- Thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable with PSM, MOC, lockout/tagout, and permit systems.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in chemical, batch, or hazardous materials settings.
Responsibilities
- Lead the night shift operations to keep production on schedule.
- Maintain high quality standards.
- Ensure the team is performing at their best.
- Jump in to address issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering.
- Ensure clean handoffs and accurate records at the end of each shift.
- Enforce safety standards without exception.
- Lead safety investigations.
- Exercise stop work authority when necessary.
- Champion quality and continuous improvement.
- Hold the team accountable to SOPs.
- Push for continuous improvement.
