About The Position

Bell and Evans is seeking a Production Supervisor for their 3rd shift. This role involves supervising bird injection and coordinating production workers to fulfill customer orders. The supervisor is accountable for achieving production goals, ensuring food safety, maintaining safe operations, developing the team, and upholding product quality.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Interprets job orders to workers and assigns duties.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Maintains time and production records.
Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
Performs activities of workers supervised.
Supervises and trains people so that they are fully capable of implementing the Company’s policies and procedures.
Regularly meets with employees to evaluate their performance.
Establishes a yearly educational plan for each employee based on their needs.
Performs annual personnel evaluation and recommends goals.
