Responsible for all or a major portion of manufacturing operations within a facility. Manages production operations such as shop floor management and flow disruption management, scheduling, and personnel. Manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production activities within operations. Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple manufacturing areas. Includes functions and activities that cannot be accredited to a defined Operation discipline. Orchestrate activities within production to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives to include supervision of exempt and nonexempt associates pertaining to production, assembly, subassembly, shipping, or fabrication operations; by performing the following duties. Organization Level: • Reporting to a Sr. Manager, manages team of primarily entry and intermediate professionals or team leaders of Technical / Business Support / Quality or Production / Maintenance employees, with flexibility to determine how assignments are completed (e.g., objectives and approaches to completing work). • Problems faced are difficult, but typically not complex. • Explains policies, practices, and procedures. • Sets day-to-day goals and objectives for team members. • Explains and enforces policies, practices, and procedures.
