About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading, coaching, and training a team to ensure optimal performance and compliance with company policies and food safety programs. This role emphasizes promoting safety, optimizing employee engagement, and managing production schedules.

Requirements

• 2+ years of leadership and/or supervisory experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient technology, computer, mathematical, and analytical skills.
• General knowledge of plant operations, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMPs, and HACCP.
• Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Business Management, or other related field of study preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and train a team, providing professional development through ongoing coaching.
• Constantly promote safety throughout the work area and with the team.
• Ensure proper scheduling to run the production area.
• Motivate, train, and help the team to optimize performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and established food safety programs.

• Perform all other relevant duties related to the job of a supervisor.
