About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing business operations in a food manufacturing environment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, delegating tasks to team members, and resolving issues that arise during their shift. Key duties include managing inventory, coordinating employee responsibilities, and enhancing efficiency.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma and GED with Minimum of 5 years of directly related manufacturing experience
  • Complete understanding of food processing.
  • Experience Developing SOP’s and work instructions.
  • Strong leadership skills, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership/influencer role.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and with teams.
  • Knowledge of environmental, code and safety regulations on the Federal, State, and local levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Engineering Degree would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assign team members tasks to complete each shift, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Set performance metrics for team members and collaborate to ensure all metrics are met, with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Resolve problems and troubleshoot issues promptly, prioritizing safety and quality without the need for management direction.
  • Manage multiple projects and staff members, ensuring compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
  • Report to the Production Manager and meet with management to review goals, metrics, and safety and quality performance.
  • Maintain a work environment that meets company, state, and federal safety and employment guidelines.
  • Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Oversee timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Utilize ADP software for payroll, timekeeping, and attendance management.
  • Conduct regular employee reviews, providing feedback and setting development goals.
  • Foster employee development through training and mentorship programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
