About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for all production activities at the plant. A team of Production Technicians and Control Room Operators report to the Production Supervisor. They are also responsible for ensuring their teams work is completed in a safe, efficient, and timely manner and in compliance with environmental requirements.

Requirements

Supervise subcontractors working on special projects and cleaning initiatives.
Conduct task trainings and refresher trainings for the crew.
Monitor plant processes through control systems, monitors, and visual observation.
Supervise process and hourly employees.
Collaborate with lab technicians.
Ensure quality and environmental standards are met.
Interact with the quality control department and review laboratory test results.
Take corrective actions and recommend solutions for production issues.
Inspect and evaluate operating equipment.
Work with maintenance and support teams.
Utilize SAP system for work and material requisitions, and time entry.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
This position will supervise primarily subcontractors working on special projects and cleaning initiatives around the plant.
Responsible for his crew’s task trainings and other refresher trainings.
Maintain continual observation of operation of all the various processes through recordings and indications of the control system, monitors and visual observation when necessary.
Supervise process and hourly employees and work closely with lab technicians.
Ensure that quality and environmental standards are met.
Assure that a consistent quality product is being produced through interaction with the quality control department and through the review of laboratory test results on raw meal, clinker and cement.
Take corrective action as necessary. Report and recommend solutions for production problem areas.
Assure the regular inspection and evaluation of all operating equipment to help maintain production requirements.
Work closely with maintenance and other supports teams.
Use SAP system to issue work and material requisitions, hourly employee time entry and other required system information.
