The Production Supervisor role requires strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility to participate in various activities and tasks based upon the needs of the department, and a proven track record of dependability and reliability. This role involves the ability to comprehend and train to documents such as work instructions, safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as the ability to detect and correct process problems. A working knowledge of desktop computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is necessary, along with the ability to accurately record production data both manually and in a computer database (Oracle). The position requires the ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain proper safety, quality, and inspection standards, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. A high degree of responsibility with an emphasis on safety, and the ability to work independently and cooperatively are essential.
