About The Position

The C-shift Production Supervisor is a key member of our operations team and will oversee a team of both direct and indirect employees to ensure Safe operations, producing product with the highest Quality, Delivering on-time to our customers, in the most Cost effective way possible. This position requires cross-functional collaboration to ensure success to these SQDC objectives and is the first point of escalation for our C-shift employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of supervisory experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to work 100% onsite in Bangor, Maine.
  • Ability and willingness to work C shift (Friday - Sunday 6:00AM - 6:30PM)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees
  • Supervise and lead a team of front-line manufacturing employees in rotors and airfoils manufacturing proceses and repair.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels to meet production demands, including recruiting and training new employees.
  • Monitor daily production activities to ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives.
  • Analyze production data and report to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead continuous improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Culture, Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and optimize processes.
