About The Position

This position, reporting to the Production Manager, is responsible for materials and production management functions, including planning, procurement, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products to meet shift objectives. The role involves direct supervision over an assigned shift and is ideal for a hands-on team lead or emerging supervisor seeking leadership growth.

Requirements

Comprehensive knowledge of product production
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision - self starter
Strong interpersonal skills
Graduation from High School; including or supplemented by vocational training.
Minimum three (3) years employment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Oversees and ensures proper production planning and scheduling are carried out during the assigned shift.
Monitors and addresses activities to prevent deviations from production schedules.
Balance the level of labor cost and machine requirements during assigned shift.
Responsible for the motivation and development of subordinates to optimize their performance and personal growth.
Oversee routine housekeeping as required.
Performs any other tasks as may be assigned by the Plant Manager.
Assist in related department activities and perform related duties, as required.
