About The Position

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily production activities and employee performance. This role involves creating work schedules, assigning duties, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and company procedures. The supervisor will be responsible for hiring, training, coaching, developing, and managing employees, while also promoting a safe, clean, and organized work environment with a strong safety-first culture. Key aspects of the role include monitoring productivity, labor utilization, and overtime to drive operational efficiency, standardizing processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The supervisor will coordinate with plant leadership to meet production targets and customer requirements, track and report production output, issues, and performance metrics, and ensure proper staffing and attendance throughout shifts. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and duties may change.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or material management environment.
Experience with hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and work independently or as part of a team.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Knowledge of production scheduling, materials planning, and Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.
ERP/Sage experience is a plus.
Forklift experience/certification preferred.
