We're excited to announce an opening for our Production Supervisor who leads and drives performance of our Baked Pie Line and is accountable for the entire production line and assigned employees. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of Supervisory experience in a continuous manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to quickly identify key issues and use data-driven decisions to resolve those issues.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication across departments.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop team members.
  • Experience with implementing LEAN manufacturing principles and process improvement tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely produce quality products with most efficient use of labor and materials.
  • Provide transformational leadership and actively lead your team.
  • Achieve operational excellence to meet or exceed plan through continuous improvement.
  • Supervise your team and handle the day-to-day interactions.
  • Actively contribute towards a strong safety culture by sharing expectations with your team, participating in Safety Walks, and ensure adherence to all safety regulations and policies.
  • Conduct daily communication meetings with your team to safe information on Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and performance.
  • Ensure and promote a working environment dedicated to respect and engagement for all team members.
  • Develop training and cross-training plans for your team.
  • Complete administrative tasks including reviewing and approving PTO, manage disciplinary actions for team members as appropriate, Maintain strong communication with all Production Supervisors across all shifts and proactively resolve issues by wo rking directly with peers and other departments including Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, Logistics, and Human Resources.
