Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations in a manufacturing unit, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role is responsible for managing production schedules, supervising team members, and implementing process improvements, while ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Requirements
- 1-3 years Manufacturing environment. (Required)
- Medium proficiency in Quality Control
- Medium proficiency in Process Improvement
- Medium proficiency in Team Leadership
- Medium proficiency in Safety Management
- Medium proficiency in Performance Monitoring
- Medium proficiency in Troubleshooting
- Medium proficiency in Communication
- Medium proficiency in Time Management
- Medium proficiency in Ability to read, audit and understand batch records
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma (Preferred)
- 1-3 years Prior leadership in a manufacturing environment. (Preferred)
- 1-3 years FDA experience. (Preferred)
- Relevant industry-standard Licenses and Certifications (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Supervise production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure the health and safety of employees.
- Ensure team members are following batch record specifications.
- Maintain production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Train and mentor production staff and handle employee issues/concerns as they arise.
- Implement process improvements for efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate with maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain employee timesheets, approve vacation, and schedule OT when necessary.
- Responsible for placing staff in the right positions based on abilities and skills.
- Reconciling work orders for financial review.
