About The Position

The 2nd shift Production Supervisor position supports and supervises assigned activities as they relate to the production employees in our Kingston, PA facility. HCSC linen services is an innovative provider of textile programs and services to the healthcare community. Our services directly impact the health and safety of the patients by providing healthcare facilities with top-quality linen services. We sort, process, and deliver linen for every healthcare need.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required
• 3 years of supervisory or management experience
• Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening), organizational, and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and ability to quickly solve complex issues.
• A passion to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of HCSC.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Union environment experience preferred.
• bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Oversees departments to survey work process, employees & equipment operation ensuring safety and quality standards are met
• Enters employee payroll information and some production scores via computer
• Communicates production issues to management
• Supervises, orients & trains employees
