About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our Weekend Night Shift operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on the production floor, values teamwork, and is passionate about driving results through people development, safety, and operational excellence. This position will be working Friday to Sunday from 6PM-6AM.

Requirements

2+ years of experience leading diverse teams in a production or manufacturing setting.
Comfortable leading by example and staying hands-on on the production floor.
Strong emotional intelligence, patience, and ability to manage in high-pressure situations.
Dedicated to developing talent, recognizing achievements, and supporting career growth.
Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and decision-making abilities.
High school diploma required; additional education a plus.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with food safety standards (GMPs, HACCP, SQF) preferred.
Bilingual in English/Spanish or French is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the week day shift production team, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Manage daily production schedules and monitor performance using tools like RedZone and ERP systems.
Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), SQF food safety standards, and OSHA regulations.
Oversee interviewing, training, and performance management of team members.
Collaborate with logistics, QA, maintenance, and HR to ensure smooth operations and meet business goals.
Maintain accurate data in EAM, ADP, and other systems for maintenance and HR tasks.
Track and report KPIs including output, quality, labor efficiency, and downtime.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and inclusion through active coaching and mentoring.
Be a visible leader on the production floor, providing support, feedback, and resolving issues with patience and empathy.
