About The Position
Kings Command Foods has an opportunity for a Production Supervisor at our Versailles, OH facility. As our Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily activities of the assigned production process to ensure the efficient production of wholesome, high-quality products, the safety of our staff, and that employees follow established rules and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Minimum of 2 years in the food industry.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous experience leading/ training/ supervising employees.
- Considerable knowledge of process work requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain record-keeping in English (read, write, and speak).

- Assist with employee development as it pertains to acquiring job skills, proper protective equipment use and care, proper company procedures and practices, etc.
Responsibilities
- Supervising 21 or more production employees within the facility
- Coordinating and supervising daily activities of the assigned production process to ensure efficient production and safety
- Ensuring that employees follow established rules and procedures
- Advising departments of work that need to be completed
- Maintaining adequate crewing to meet production requirements
- Reporting yields and other applicable product information as required
- Directing production to maintain and/or improve operating efficiency
- Resolving problems for the operations department
- Being familiar with production reports and daily production schedules
- Ensuring all products are produced to customer specifications and food safety standards
- Issuing discipline as needed
- Training and enforcing GMPs
- Helping plant comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and procedures
- Monitoring downtime and seeking ways to reduce downtime
- Assisting with creating production reports and daily production schedules
- Providing job performance feedback and corrective instruction
- Teaching and demonstrating the company’s commitment to safety and quality of work
