About The Position

This position is with Henkel's Adhesive Technologies business unit, which empowers people to transform industries and provide customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings. The Production Supervisor will lead a team of unionized hourly plant production employees, supporting and training them while serving as a mentor and coach. The role focuses on efficient labor and production line scheduling, accommodating changes based on customer demands, and maintaining focus on productivity, cost control, efficiencies, and production improvements. The supervisor will also monitor and generate reports on production performance and encourage process improvements in all operational functions.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in production related environment
Strong time management skills
Ability to build and maintain a team and leading direct reports
Excellent, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Strong MS Excel, Outlook skills
SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

Lead the team of unionized hourly plant production employees
Support and train hourly production employees and serve as a mentor and coach to ensure the successful development of their own staff
Ensure labor and production lines are being scheduled efficiently, accommodating sudden change or needs based on Customer demands
Maintain focus on productivity, cost control, efficiencies and production improvements
Monitor and generate reports on production related performance
Encourage process improvements in all operational functions
