About The Position

AAI/Spalding has an immediate opening for a Production Supervisor at its Jefferson, Iowa facility. The Production Supervisor oversees production operations and employees within their assigned area to ensure a safe working environment. Ensures products are manufactured in accordance with standard operating procedures, resolves operational issues, fosters a continuous improvement culture, and drives efficient and timely completion of production schedules. AAI/Spalding is a leading sports equipment manufacturer and part of Fruit of the Loom, an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • Solid manufacturing knowledge
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently
  • Strong computer and MS Office knowledge and skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in a related field a plus.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
  • Management experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production schedules for the assigned area, setting clear priorities to meet operational targets.
  • Coordinate, assign, and adjust employee work schedules to ensure staffing aligns with production needs.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing challenges to maintain workflow and product quality.
  • Evaluate departmental performance and implement initiatives that enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Promote and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Enforce company operating and safety policies and procedures.
  • Partner with Purchasing to determine material requirements and ensure timely availability of all necessary components.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to establish standard operating procedures and quality standards for each work cell.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance team to establish maintenance procedures for all equipment in assigned work area.
