Requirements

1–2 years of related manufacturing, production, or supervisory experience and/or training.
Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Computer literate with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Ability to identify roadblocks, assess potential impacts, and take appropriate action to keep operations on track.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, leadership, and other departments.
Basic mathematical skills, including calculating rates, ratios, percentages, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, diagram-based, and schedule-based instructions.

Nice To Haves

One-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred.
Previous experience leading employees in a manufacturing environment preferred.
experience with IQMS and UKG is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily production activities during the assigned shift.
Ensure employees follow all safety procedures, company policies, and equipment operating requirements.
Promote a positive safety culture and address or report unsafe conditions.
Oversee production activities to ensure products meet required specifications and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitor workflow and allocate resources to support production goals.
Identify and recommend opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Support cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze production and operational issues to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
Proactively recognize operational roadblocks and take appropriate corrective action to minimize disruptions and maintain production goals.
Develop and lead a high-performing team by setting clear expectations and monitoring individual and team performance.
Train, coach, and develop employees to support operational and professional growth.
Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, employee recognition, corrective action, and resolving workplace concerns.
Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to support overall plant performance.
