Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a leadership role.
  • Must have computer skills to communicate and process data.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Must be able to work with other departments and follow all food safety guidelines and HACCP requirements.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
  • Must be able to work weekends as needed.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must practice good personal hygiene.
  • Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with Google Suite.
  • Coaching and performance management experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of timekeeping systems is a benefit.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Seek resolution of team member concerns to create an environment that expresses care, concern, and consistency toward all team members.
  • Promote cooperation and dedication to superior workmanship among all team members.
  • Provide training for team members on company policies, rules, regulations, and job-specific duties and responsibilities.
  • Audit performance to verify knowledge transfer and adherence to training.
  • Initiate needed maintenance work orders and monitor maintenance activities.
  • Attain all budgeted and standard operating costs.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to GMP’s and specifications. Maintain high levels of sanitation, housekeeping, and product quality.
  • Arrange for materials and supplies needed for daily production.
  • Review and approve new methods and standards. Utilize teamwork for improvements.
  • Assure team members are paid correctly, reviewing time sheets, payroll, and labor costs.
  • Work with the HR department on team member staffing, care, benefits, pay, discipline, etc. Properly document team member activities for attendance and discipline. Provide documents to HR for inclusion in team member’s files. Administrate team member vacation and leave programs.
  • Follow daily work schedule and report variances.
  • Encourage best use of energy and resources with minimal waste.
  • Inform team members about company and department activities and events.
  • Accurate data reporting and follow-up on all department inventories, production, costs, meat and supply usages, variances, time, payroll, projects, quality issues, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
