The role is a direct-hire position based in Charleston, SC and requires onsite presence. The role is responsible for the overall performance of an assigned production area across all shifts. It ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations while maintaining strong leadership on the production floor. The position focuses on driving daily execution, meeting production targets, and ensuring consistent adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards. In addition, the role is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing employees, while promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and effective communication across all shifts and departments.

Requirements

• Experience in production or manufacturing environment required
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and production processes
• Leadership and accountability

Responsibilities

• Lead all employees in the assigned area across shifts
• Maintain disciplinary responsibility and enforce standards
• Ensure shift communication and alignment
• Enforce safety rules, PPE, and environmental standards
• Maintain strong floor presence and correct unsafe conditions
• Own daily production performance and targets
• Manage staffing and resolve bottlenecks
• Ensure product quality meets internal and customer standards
• Support containment and corrective actions
• Ensure staffing, training, and skill coverage
• Improve productivity and reduce downtime
• Develop and coach team members
• Identify waste and drive process improvements
• Support 5S, TPM, and standard work
• Coordinate with related departments
• Communicate priorities and performance clearly
