About The Position

Hubbell is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Chatsworth, CA facility to join a growing, dynamic, and diverse team. This role offers the opportunity to make recommendations and improvements that will directly impact the site’s processes and procedures. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading the manufacturing activities of the assigned group by providing direction and coaching. The Supervisor will ensure team members receive the required training and will prepare the daily work plans in support of overall production goals and objectives using SAP EWM. The position will be compensated based on experience, with a pay range of $80,000 - $90,000 per year. Requirements

1-3 years Leadership experience.

Ability to lead a team in reducing safety risk and creating a safety culture within the assigned group.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficient in MS Office.
High School Diploma Required

Nice To Haves

SAP knowledge preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement and enforce Company safety guidelines in partnership with EHS to ensure employees work in a safe manner consistent with Hubbell policies and procedures.
Schedule work assignments, vacations, and ensure accurate time reporting for Hourly Employees.
Creating and promoting a positive and inclusive culture built on respect and professionalism.
Conducting shift start-up meetings, communicate production objectives, and addressing operational challenges.
Planning work assignments to achieve maximum utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and facilities.
Resolve team conflict and manage personnel issues that may arise in partnership with Human Resources.
Communicating to management any changes or conditions which may affect production.
Identify and/or resolve problems related to production processes and/or flow and work with key stakeholders to follow-thru on resolutions.
Assess and maintain necessary raw material inventory levels to meet productivity and output targets.
Manage system transactions in SAP EWM and resolve system discrepancies as needed by working with Production Control and other support staff.
