Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a union environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure worker safety at all times
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for all components produced
  • Enforce plant policies, procedures, and workforce rules
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, counseling, and corrective disciplinary action as needed
  • Assist employees with problem-solving and operational issues
  • Work closely with maintenance supervisors to ensure proper equipment performance and operation
  • Maintain positive union relations by following and enforcing the collective bargaining agreement
  • Ensure accurate and timely timekeeping for all assigned employees
