About The Position

In this role the Production Supervisor will plan organize, and implement the daily assembly task schedule for all assemblers on the assigned product line to ensure that the production output supports the established schedule. Also the Production Supervisor will evaluate assemblers overall performance and participate in the annual goal setting and performance evaluation process. Additional duties include: Monitor and evaluate daily activities of assemblers. Including standard hour efficiency, in process QC errors, performance to production schedule, safety record, assembler attendance and retention. Utilize Kaizen activities to plan and implement improvements to problems related to production, in process quality and final QC product testing. Maintain and perform training, related to relevant procedures and work instructions for assembly, in process testing, final QC testing, warranty, distribution, and other departmental procedures. Contribute in the development of the operating and capital expense budget, both short-term and long-term needs, and continually monitoring it.

Requirements

  • 5+ years supervising manufacturing
