About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, supervising production employees, and managing labor and workflow to meet operational goals. This role ensures production targets, quality standards, and process adherence are consistently met while maintaining efficient staffing, operational performance, and a safe working environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
3–5 years of management or supervisory experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, print, or shipping/packaging environment.
Strong technical competency with computers, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience developing individuals and managing teams in a fast-paced production environment.
Experience working with operational metrics, process monitoring, and quality control systems.
Ability to work flexible shifts, extended hours, evenings, and weekends with limited advance notice when production demands require.

Nice To Haves

LEAN Six Sigma certification or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise production employees, including managing staffing levels, scheduling, attendance, and daily work assignments.
Manage labor utilization to ensure appropriate staffing levels that support production volume, efficiency, and departmental goals.
Ensure daily shift production goals and department performance metrics are achieved while maintaining strict adherence to established processes and procedures.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and support operational performance.
Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees on Mimeo systems, methodologies, procedures, and best practices.
Coach and mentor employees to improve performance and ensure accountability to departmental standards.
Administer corrective and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies when necessary.
Provide operational support by assisting in production or shipping functions when needed, including packaging, boxing, and labeling orders.
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with company safety policies.
