Requirements

3+ Years of experience working in a food & beverage manufacturing plant; 1+ years experience as a Production Supervisor
High School Diploma / GED Required
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, communication and leadership skills
Intermediate experience with Microsoft office suite
Strong mathematical and reading skills
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP)
Able to work in a manufacturing environment that may be hot, humid, noisy and dusty
Able to stand or sit for prolonged hours, lift 50 lbs. and climb stairs
Must reside in Palestine, Texas area

Nice To Haves

Associates degree in Management, Science or Engineering preferred

Responsibilities

Insure the efficient and timely execution of manufacturing schedule while continually looking to improve material usage variance (scrap) and labor cost
Achieve regulatory compliance and improve safety, production quality and product specification compliance by ensuring the adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, and all policies, procedures, rules and regulations regarding production
Ensure effective training is provided to manufacturing workforce in all aspects of manufacturing operations and improve overall operator’s performance and skill level through cross-training and clear performance standards and expectations
Maintain and report on production KPI’s, schedule achievement and material usage
Lead assigned Continuous Improvement projects, and consistently seek to improvement the processes and procedures in area of responsibility
Ensure required sanitation and housekeeping on the equipment and areas are performed as scheduled
