Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent; an Engineering or Technical qualification is advantageous.
Experience supervising teams within a manufacturing or production environment.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to lead, motivate and coordinate shift-based teams effectively.
Flexibility to train across shifts and work a 2nd shift schedule (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM).

Responsibilities

Leading safe production operations and ensuring compliance with site, corporate and regulatory safety standards.
Coordinating staffing, schedules and resources to achieve production, quality and on-time delivery targets.
Driving operational efficiency through the application of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement activities.
Maintaining accountability for in-process precious metal materials, including security and inventory control.
Supporting employee development through training, performance guidance and workforce planning.
Working with maintenance and leadership teams to improve equipment reliability, productivity and operational performance.
