About The Position

The Production Supervisor will ensure plant operations are performed safely and responsibly, maintaining full compliance with regulatory agencies and Linde policies. This role involves scheduling and coordinating cylinder gas production to meet customer demand, maintaining adequate stock levels, and monitoring raw material deliveries. The supervisor will also maintain the facility’s professional appearance, image, and security, while providing job training, supporting employee career development, and supervising personnel fairly to promote motivation and empowerment. Additionally, the Production Supervisor will drive productivity initiatives to maximize plant capabilities and improve overall operational efficiency, manage day-to-day employee activities, conduct thorough accident/incident investigations, and complete all required reports with accuracy and detail. The role supports the efficient distribution of products while maintaining professional interactions with internal and external customers, responding to emergency calls, conducting monthly safety meetings, assisting with SOP implementation, and monitoring the proper usage of plant assets.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience, or 1-2 years of cylinder processor-lead experience preferred.
Production or distribution experience required; industrial gas industry or equivalent experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge of cylinder gases and processes of each.
Familiarity with regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and management.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft applications, Lotus Notes and CU.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
