About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to help lead daily operations in our fast-paced production environment in Kansas City, MO. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supporting production personnel, ensuring workflow efficiency, maintaining USPS compliance standards, and driving a culture built on integrity, compassion, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a mailroom or lettershop environment strongly preferred
  • Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience preferred
  • Supervisory or team lead experience is a plus
  • Forklift and handjack experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility required

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support daily production floor operations
  • Champion and promote a culture of caring, teamwork, and accountability
  • Coordinate production schedules and workflow with staff
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop production employees
  • Monitor employee performance and provide corrective guidance when needed
  • Ensure all jobs are completed accurately and on time according to client expectations
  • Maintain maximum uptime on production equipment through preventive maintenance and inventory management
  • Oversee USPS Full Service compliance for all outgoing mail
  • Assist with quality checks and shipping coordination
  • Schedule staffing for print and mail operations including metering, presorting, and print-to-mail functions
  • Maintain inventory of consumables and production materials
  • Ensure compliance with operational, quality, and safety procedures
  • Support overall organization and cleanliness of the production floor
  • Assist in additional production areas as needed
