About The Position

We are looking for a results-oriented Production Supervisor to join our team and help drive performance on the shop floor. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in cold heading and cold forming environments, along with the ability to lead teams, optimize production processes, and maintain high standards for quality and safety in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Requirements

Working knowledge of EH&S rules and regulations.
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
High School diploma and related experience (minimum of three years in production, quality, or warehouse environment).
Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as technical data, safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and all EH&S initiatives.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience in cold heading and cold forming environments.

Responsibilities

Leading and developing employees in a team environment utilizing a J.I.T. manufacturing system, e.g. – Employee Involvement, Total Quality, Continuous Improvement, Housekeeping, EH&S, Communication, Coordination, etc. that meets production and customer requirements.
Coordinating training and managing production personnel, including setting performance goals, and conducting evaluations
Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring all production targets and quality standards are met.
Supervise, train, and motivate a team of production workers to foster a high-performance culture.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and safety.
Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with other department supervisors to optimize production planning and inventory control.
Monitor and report on production performance and implement strategies for improvement.
Handle troubleshooting issues swiftly and effectively to minimize downtime.
Assists area managers with and participates in assessments and feedback of employee’s performance.
Approves overtime, vacations, and other personnel administrative requests.
Facilitate daily production meetings.
Manage production schedules and resources.
Deliver quality products and drive process improvements.
Interpret area data (production, on-time delivery, quality, etc)
Collaborating with other departments to synchronize production processes in alignment with operational goals.
Follows all IATF requirements and programs.
Provides support in all areas of troubleshooting to resolve any issues.
Assist in achieving productivity and quality targets for the various teams.
Provides direction, coordination, and evaluation for second shift employees.
Ensure work being performed is accurately and efficiently in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Manufacturing Instructions, IATF Procedures and other relevant documents.
Understand and follow all health, safety, environmental regulations/rules always.
Always maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner.
Maximizes equipment run time and material yield.
Performs visual, mechanical and process audits as required.
Accurately completes reports, logs, and other documentation.
Understands and consistently meets company, team, profile, and behavioral expectations.
Understands and follows Company policies and procedures.
Understands how to access electronic information, including work instructions and procedures.
Participates in team environment and completes assignments for various functions including (but not limited to) EHS and Continuous Improvement.
