About The Position

The Production Supervisor leads all facets of Sensus meter production, driving safety, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor. This hands-on leader directs and develops the production team, ensures flawless execution of manufacturing processes, and champions continuous improvement. With a focus on best practices and strict regulatory compliance, the supervisor keeps operations running at peak performance while delivering results that meet and exceed expectations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma with at least 4 years of industry experience
  • 1+ year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts
  • In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices
  • Experience with developing and implementing inventory management policies and procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and direction to production team
  • Lead and motivate team to meet production goals
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
  • Identify and address any issues or conflicts within the team
