Production Supervisor- 1st Shift

The 1st shift hours for this position are from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Requirements
- Minimum two years supervisory experience in the food industry, pharmaceutical, or other like industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, Quality Testing and Safety Concerns, and SAP operating systems
- Previous experience managing sanitation activities and understanding of sanitation cleaning process required.
- Strong computer skills proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Effective Communicator and Delegator
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional team skills
- Knowledge of SAP operating systems a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills focusing on Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action and “5 Why” analysis.
- Willingness to work Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities
- Supervision of shift staff, organizing and monitoring work processes
- Responsible for onboarding and training of shift employees
- Coaching, counseling and support of development plans for career growth of staff
- Management of Performance process
- Enforces policies and procedures and when needed, manages disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans to meet operating standards.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment, placing Safety first.
- Executes operational objectives to ensure shift meets safety, quality and productivity standards.
- Fosters an environment of Teamwork and Collaboration
